Hi, I’m Michaelene Norwood, the heart and hands behind The Hive Creations LLC. Here you’ll find tumblers, resin creations, sublimation pieces, and other custom designs — but behind each item is so much more than just materials and craft.

I am in recovery, and I’ve learned that healing isn’t always a straight path. My journey through addiction and my ongoing openness about mental health struggles have shaped who I am today. They’ve also shaped how I create. Crafting has become more than just a business for me — it’s a form of therapy, expression, and connection.

When I’m working on a tumbler or designing a new piece, I pour all of myself into it — patience, love, care, and the joy of knowing it might brighten someone else’s day. Every creation is a reminder that even in difficult times, beauty can come from struggle, and hope can come from pain.

I’m also passionate about using my voice to raise awareness around addiction and mental health. Too often, those subjects are hidden in silence. I want my business to not only be about beautiful, one-of-a-kind products but also about breaking stigmas, sparking conversations, and reminding others they’re not alone.
